Australian Dollar Drops Slightly in Currency Trading

US Dollar Strengthens in FX Trading

Greenback gains in currency tradingThe greenback is gaining in currency trading on the FX market today. Lower oil prices have been helping the US dollar in FX trading, and there has been a measured return to risk appetite.

Even with the higher initial US jobless claims being reported right now, the greenback is still seeing success in currency trading. One of the main supports for the US dollar in FX trading is the confidence that the government will support the stock market and the economy.

Euro Sees Rebound in Forex Trading

Euro a safe haven in currency tradingYesterday, the euro was struggling in forex trading. Today, however, things are turning around the euro is gaining in currency trading on the FX market as it is seen as a safe haven investment.

Part of the reason that the euro is seeing success in forex trading today is due to comments made by one of the ECB councilmembers. He said that there is still room to raise ECB rates this year.
